On the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attack on Parliament, there was chaos in the House when two youths suddenly jumped down from the audience gallery. At that time, BJP MP Khagen Murmu was presenting his views in the Lok Sabha. The youth had hidden some spray in their shoes. It is clearly a Lok Sabha Security Breach.
They started jumping on the benches of the House and during this time yellow gas started spreading in the House. There was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire house. After this the MPs caught him. Congress MP Gurjit Singh Aujla told that I caught him first. Some even beat him. After this he was handed over to the security personnel. Seeing this, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House till 2 pm.
Earlier, on December 13, 2001, 5 terrorists had attacked the old Parliament building. In this, 9 people including 5 Delhi Police personnel were killed.
Khagen Murmu said- I thought someone was coming
Khagen Murmu said, ‘I was giving a speech. Then a voice came from the right and I came to know that someone was coming. The MPs and security guards from the front started shouting ‘hold on, hold on’. He was holding something in his hand, from which smoke was coming out. The house was filled with smoke. The youth were going straight towards the speaker. They were raising slogans that dictatorship will not work. At that time Rajendra Aggarwal was sitting on the speaker’s chair.
There were 4 people, two inside the house and two outside.
It is being told that the name of one of the two people who entered during the proceedings is Sagar. Both the MPs had come to the House on visitor pass. At the same time, a man and a woman released yellow smoke outside the house. The security personnel caught him and took him out. During this time these people were seen shouting slogans.
Proceedings resumed after an hour of Lok Sabha Security Breach
This incident happened at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. After this, the proceedings of the House started again at 2 pm. As soon as he arrived, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said – The incident that just happened is a matter of everyone’s concern. Its investigation is ongoing. Delhi Police has also been ordered to investigate. In the initial investigation it was ordinary smoke. Everyone will be informed about the results of the detailed investigation.
When DMK MP TR Baalu wanted to ask a question on this matter, the speaker said that both the people have been caught. The items found with them have been confiscated. The two people who were outside the House have also been arrested.
After this, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Choudhary said that Parliament was attacked in 2001. Today again there has been an attack on the same day. Does this prove that there has been a security lapse?

Brief Explanation by Members
- Congress MP Karti Chidambaram said, suddenly two people jumped into the Lok Sabha from the visitor gallery. Both are around 20 years old. These people were carrying canisters. Yellow colored gas was coming out from these canisters. One of the two people ran and reached in front of the speaker’s chair. They were raising some slogans. There is a fear that this gas may be poisonous. After December 13, 2001, this is again a big case of lapse in the security of Parliament.

- TMC MP Sudeep Bandopadhyay– It was a scary experience. Suddenly two people jumped into the Parliament. No one knows what his motive was. He could have created an explosion, could have shot someone. - Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant– Suddenly two people jumped from the gallery in the Lok Sabha. Then both of them started jumping over the bench. One took off his shoe. The MPs caught him. Then suddenly yellow colored gas started coming out. Perhaps gas was coming out of his shoes.

Advani, Pramod Mahajan and many journalists were present in the Parliament.
As soon as the sound of bullets was heard, a battalion of CRPF also became active. At that time, many big leaders and journalists including the country’s Home Minister Lal Krishna Advani, Pramod Mahajan were present in the Parliament. Everyone was asked to stay safe inside.

The remaining 4 terrorists tried to enter the House from Gate No. 4, but 3 of them were killed there. After this, the last remaining terrorist ran towards Gate No. 5, but he also fell victim to the bullets of the soldiers. The encounter between soldiers and terrorists started at 11:30 am and ended at 4 pm.
