Allahabad High Court Has Given A Strong Decision In The Case Of Mathura.

Allahabad High Court has given a big decision in the case of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah in Mathura. The court has accepted the petition of a Hindu party. While giving the order, the court said that first the petition for appointing a court commissioner will be heard. After this the maintainability of the petition will be considered.

High Court Hearing on Petition

Hearing was held in Allahabad High Court regarding Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Idgah case of Mathura. The court has accepted the petition of the Hindu side. While giving the order, the court said that first the petition for appointing a court commissioner will be heard. After this the maintainability of the petition will be considered. Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain said that the court has rejected the arguments of the Shahi Idgah Masjid side. This decision of the court is historical.

Petition To Appoint Court Commissioner

Allahabad High Court, while giving its order in the Shri Krishna birthplace dispute case on Thursday, said that first the petition for appointing a court commissioner will be heard. After this the maintainability of the petition will be considered. The court will now hear the matter of appointing the court commissioner on December 18.

Report On Application

Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain said that Allahabad High Court has accepted our application,In which we had demanded a survey of (Shahi Idgah Mosque) by the Advocate Commissioner. Its outline will be decided on 18th December. The court has rejected the arguments of the Shahi Idgah Mosque. Our demand was that the Shahi Idgah Mosque has many signs and symbols of the Hindu temple. A survey is necessary to know the real situation. He has described this decision of the court as historical.

Update on November 16 Hearing

Earlier, in the Janmabhoomi-Idgah case, after the hearing held on November 16, the High Court had ordered the plaintiffs and defendants related to all the 18 cases to be personally present. Chairman of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nyas, Mahendra Pratap Singh had said that the High Court has taken the files of 18 cases filed in the Sessions Court under its jurisdiction for hearing.

Allegations On Idgah Party

He had alleged that the Idgah party was destroying evidence by playing with the architecture of the birthplace. Before the evidence is destroyed, a demand will be made from the High Court to order a survey of the birthplace on the lines of Gyanvapi.

Know how old is the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Idgah dispute in Mathura

Shahi Idgah Mosque is adjacent to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple complex in Mathura city. On 12 October 1968, Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan entered into an agreement with the Shahi Masjid Idgah Trust. The agreement provides for the construction of both the temple and the mosque on 13.37 acres of land.

The entire dispute is regarding this 13.37 acres of land. Of this land, 10.9 acres of land is near Shri Krishna’s birthplace and 2.5 acres of land is near Shahi Idgah Mosque. In this agreement, the Muslim side gave up some of its occupied land for the temple and in return the Muslim side was given some land nearby. Now the Hindu side is demanding possession of the entire 13.37 acres of land.

This is the history of Shri Krishna’s birthplace-Idgah.

It is said that Aurangzeb destroyed the ancient Keshavnath temple built at the birthplace of Shri Krishna and built the Shahi Idgah Mosque at the same place in 1669-70. In 1770, there was a war between the Mughals and the Marathas in Govardhan. Marathas won in this. After the victory, the Marathas rebuilt the temple. In 1935, Allahabad High Court allotted 13.37 acres of land to Raja Krishna Das of Banaras. In 1951, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust acquired this land.
